Experiences with the Principles, especially No. 7

“If you pursue an end, you enchain yourself. If everything you do you realize as an end in itself, you liberate yourself.”

I don’t really understand why I’m doing so well. I can certainly write out my experience and my thinking behind it all (and that is what this document is), but I’m still not sure how all of that adds up to what I feel is going on within me now. I’m interested in trying to understand because we know that states of inspiration tend to dwindle over time, and when that eventually happens and I find myself in my daily life more like before, I would like to be able to re-read this write-up and perhaps be able to follow the path back to inspiration. That may not be possible, and who knows, perhaps I won’t lose the entire thread of this state, either. But no matter what happens, I think it’s worth trying to better understand how these kinds of changes come about.

Screening of the documentary “Silo. A spiritual path “

Hello friends,

With great joy we share some images of the screening of the documentary” Silo. A spiritual path “that we made last April 11 at the Cines Norte de Vigo.

Within the frame of the 50th Anniversary, we rescued the spiritual dimension of celebration, gratitude and joy, which has accompanied us permanently and in copresence in our requests and in our daily activities.

The teamwork previously done was a success, light, without friction and full of learning.

To do this, we disseminated through 600 posters, 240 leaflets, dissemination on social networks, the cinema website and two local media.

The movie theater, with capacity for 75 people, was filled. In a light, happy and celebratory climate, there were people who participated in the different Communities, friends, family and people who came for the first time.

For many the act had a double record, on the one hand it was reconciler with the past and on the other with an open future. No doubt a valid action record was expressed that accompanied us before, during and after the event.

We took advantage of the meeting to thank and invite all those who would like to continue deepening and find us in Silo’s Message Room.

A warm hug,

OPENING TO THE DIVINE FEMININE

Dec. 16, Red Bluff Park of Study & Reflection

Saturday morning, the Park green and beautiful in the rain, around fifteen of us gathered in the Center of Work for our usual monthly gathering.

Two good friends from Berlin on Skype joined us via Skype as we began the day with the work with the Force and the Wellbeing, asking for friends and loved ones who are in need of support.

Then we plunged into our theme, the Divine Feminine and its role in human history up to the present day and onward, exploring how we can strengthen the benign influence of feminine values such as caring and compassion in our world, now and into the future.

Ken D. started things off with a powerpoint presentation about the millions of years of human development until the present day. Then we went into an in-depth study “The Rupture,” a work by Karen R. inspired by a letter from Silo from 2004. For about two hours we explored this fascinating and provocative theme, until, exhausted by the rigors of the discussion, we were forced to take a break for a sumptuous lunch.

When we reconvened, we devoted the afternoon to working with clay, making small sculptures that expressed our personal experience of the Divine Feminine. This turned out to be a surprisingly peaceful experience, and we all fell into silence as we let go of our worries about producing the perfect work of art, and just let the clay speak through our hands.

We ended the day by watching a video on the Neanderthal and their relationship to our homo erectus ancestors. When we ended the weekend, each of us carried the question of the Divine Feminine away with us, and we will continue to explore this essential theme in our everyday lives.

We invite everyone who resonates with this theme to join us at the Park this coming January 19, when we will pit fire our clay sculptures and continue exploring this profound theme. This is an opportunity for all of us, no matter what our gender, to learn to let the Divine Feminine express itself within and among us freely, in balance with our masculine strengths. As we continue this work together, we are making a heartfelt contribution to our loved ones, our community, and our world toward the ongoing evolution of a complete human being full of peace, force, and joy.

Testimonial Commentaries on Silo’s Message
Silo, the great awakened one.

These commentaries cover a period of my life that goes from 2002, when Silo‟s Message was launched, to 2018 and they include the first commentaries that I had written in the year 2011. These writings came from the personal need of telling my own experience and the change that progressively was produced in me as I went deeper into The Message. There is also the aspiration that this testimony may be useful to other who take The Message as the path of liberation from our own and others suffering, as the path towards the Meaning of life.

These writings arose from a personal need to share my own experience and the discoveries and conclusions I have reached in working with Silo ́s Message. I hope my testimony can help others use this Message as the path toward freedom from suffering for themselves and others, as the path toward the meaning of life. Silo‟s Message is not based on dogma; rather it is about free interpretation. That is also the framework of these comments, which are made according to the understanding and experience I reached after some time. This came about both through group practice during the weekly meetings in which I participate, and through frequent individual practice as well. The action of bringing this experience to my relatives, friends and others helped me comprehend and achieve a greater opening toward other people, enabling me to reach experiences previously unknown.

This work is a testimonial to an experience anyone can reach if they make Silo ́s Message their own. It is presented in poems describing experiences that make up a process. The poems are followed by explanations that show the way I practice everything that is presented in the book, and the non-linear process that progressively developed. I have never followed the meditations in sequence, but have accompanied them with ceremonies.

The final part includes three complete tales of experiences that have been important in my process. The message that Silo has kindly given us is a way to a life that is both coherent and transcendent. It leads us to justice, to reconciliation. Through it we can reach the Profound, ultimately unveiling the existence of a permanent Meaning that transforms life, illuminating it. The belief in definite death fall down and thus breaking our enchainment to suffering. It is also possible to reach the unmistakable personal experience of what I call the divine

Sacred Feminine Workshop

On Saturday November 17th 2018 some friends from the communities of Silo’s Message at the Eastlake Hall in Oakland traveled to Parks of Study and Red Bluff to join Paul Tooby from the Red Bluff community of the Message for a workshop exploring the Sacred Feminine. We used Karen Rohn’s contribution ‘The Rupture’ to guide our study and interchange.
We started the workshop with a ceremony of Laying on of Hands followed by unorganized individual study, reflection, and interchange about ‘The Rupture.’ After lunch we came together as a group to work with clay forming our own expressions of the Sacred Feminine. We left the Park very inspired and the next day before returning home we took the time to enjoy a beautiful Autumn morning by the Sacramento River.

Commentaries on “Silo’s Message” in Basque

Silo’s Comments to Silo’s Message translated into the Basque Language.

“Siloren Mezua”ren Lehen atala

Lehen atalean, «Barne-begirada» liburua komentatuko dugu. Lehen hiru kapituluetan, hitzaurre gisa, kontuan izan behar diren gaiak aipatzen ditu autoreak, arreta guztiz, gai garrantzitsuak zuzenki kokatu ahal izateko.

  1. kapituluraino egiten diren azalpenek zentzugabetasun kutsua dute, eta baztertu egingo ditu behin betiko egiaren bila dabilenak. Bertan aurkituko ditugu kontuan hartzea merezi duten kapitulu eta ahapaldi batzuk. Baina, lehenik eta behin, gure buruari galdetu behar diogu: Zer helarazi nahi da lan honekin? Irakaspen bat helarazi nahi da bizitzaren zentzuarekin zerikusia duen giza portaerari buruz eta gizakiaren barnekoari buruz.

Zergatik du «Barne-begirada» titulutzat? Ikusmen-organoa ez al dago jarrita kanpoaldeko mundua ikusteko, leiho bat edo bi bailiran, kasuaren arabera? Ez al dago jarrita zabal-zabalik, egunero, kontzientzia iratzartzen denerako? Begiaren hondoak kanpoko munduaren inpaktuak jasotzen ditu. Baina, batzuetan, betazalak ixten ditudanean, kanpoko mundua gogoratzen dut, edo imajinatzen dut, edo esna amesten dut, edo amesten dut. Mundu hori pantaila batean begiratzen duen barneko begi batekin ikusten dut. Ez da, ordea, kanpoko mundua ikusteko erabiltzen dudan begi berbera….

From Mike
Thank you Guide

Thank you for for showing me the way the Sacred, to the Divine, the Eternal that exists within me that fills me with joy and meaning

Thank you for showing me how to hold a dying friends hand and guide them to hidden city

Thank you for showing me the true meaning of friendship which has nothing to do with expectations, manipulation, or increasing one’s social status but instead manifests itself truly when people consciously decide to work together to overcome the pain and suffering they find in themselves and in the world around them.

Thank you Guide for giving me faith in myself and in humanity.

That despite all of the unfortunate events we see happening around the world, despite these dark times we find ourselves in, the tools you left us are more than enough to illuminate the light within us and if in each corner those people in pursuit of meaning, affection, and hope form their own communities it is only a matter of time before the whole world lights up.
